What's the Buzz?

The Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association is stepping up to the plate for this year's Neat Neighborhoods showdown, a thrilling contest brought to you by none other than the City of Springfield and the Neighborhood Advisory Council. And guess what? Our neighborhood is not just in it to win it; we're aiming for the stars, fueled by the support of the rockstar presenting sponsor, The Hatch Foundation, and a lineup of other fantastic agencies.

What's at Stake?

Picture this: pristine streets, vibrant green spaces, and a community buzzing with energy and pride. That's the dream, right? And with prizes totaling a whopping $40,000, courtesy of The Hatch Foundation, that dream is within reach. But wait, there's more! We're not just talking about one grand prize here. Nope, they're dishing out rewards for first, second, and third place winners in each of our four City Council Zones. That's right, folks – your chance to shine is now!

Who's in the Race?

It's time to rally the troops because the competition is fierce, and we're going head-to-head with some of the city's finest neighborhoods. From Bradford Park to University Heights, our Zone 4 lineup is stacked with contenders ready to show off their community spirit and make a lasting impact.

What's on the Scorecard?

So, what's the secret recipe for clinching that coveted "Neat Neighborhood" title? It's all about community! From your top-notch planning skills to keeping those public places squeaky clean, every little detail counts. Green spaces, tidy streets, and a knack for keeping litter at bay – these are the ingredients for success, and we're here to bring our A-game.

🌟🌟 BREAKING NEWS! 🌟🌟

Hold onto your hats, Seminole Holland! The stats are rolling in. The neighborhood cleanup event on April 6, 2024, was an ABSOLUTE BLAST, and we're still buzzing with excitement!

Picture this: Over 150 households, YES, you read that right, 150 households, came together to make our community SHINE! From beginning to end, it was a whirlwind of energy, passion, and ACTION!

But wait, it gets even better! We're talking about a whopping 200 loads of household items, limbs, leaves, scrap metal, and electronics collected. Can you believe it? That's the POWER of unity and community spirit in action!

But none of this would've been possible without our INCREDIBLE volunteers. Let's give them a round of applause, folks! They were the real MVPs, working tirelessly to direct traffic, lend a helping hand, and unload stuff with smiles on their faces. A HUGE THANK YOU to each and every one of you!

And let's not forget to tip our hats to the masterminds behind the scenes. That's right, the Community Partnership of the Ozarks and the City of Springfield, you ROCK! Your vision, dedication, and support made this event a reality, and we couldn't be more grateful!

So, Seminole Holland, pat yourselves on the back because YOU made it happen. Together, we proved that when we come together, there's NOTHING we can't achieve. Until next time, keep shining bright, keep spreading kindness, and keep making our community the BEST it can be! ✨🙌💚
