Boundaries
The boundaries of the Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association in Springfield Missouri are:
- Sunshine Street on the north;
- Sunset Street on the south;
- Campbell Avenue on the west;
- and National Avenue on the east.
Mission
The mission of the Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association is:
- To identify neighborhood issues and/or problems of common concern.
- To express opinions on these issues and/or problems.
- To coordinate with appropriate government officials and others to resolve those issues and/or problems relative to the neighborhood.
- To enhance communications among the citizens who reside within the Association boundaries.
- To provide a platform for neighborhood socialization.
- To be a neighborhood with heart in the heart of the city.
Purpose
The Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association is organized
to unify the neighborhood, and improve the aesthetic qualities and the
overall quality of life within the neighborhood boundaries.
The specific functions the Neighborhood Association strives to
address include:
- Preventing crime.
- Assisting and supporting neighbors in need.
- Increasing neighborhood beautification and property maintenance.
- Working with the City of Springfield Missouri to improve and increase the safety of public infrastructure, property, and neighborhood streetscapes.
- Supporting neighborhood schools.
- Increasing communication between the residents of the neighborhood and the City of Springfield Missouri.
