2023 Transporation & Infrastructure Survey

The City of Springfield is seeking feedback from citizens through Sept. 6 on a proposed list of improvement projects and potential programs to be considered for future funding through the City’s tax funds.

The survey includes brief descriptions of the full list of projects. It asks citizens to prioritize the projects they think are most beneficial to the community, offer guidance on the amount that should be invested in certain programs and provide any additional comments they might have.

The survey is open to anyone who lives, works, or otherwise visits Springfield and uses the City’s transportation system and facilities.

Do You Have What It Takes to Be a Voice of Seminole Holland?

Have you ever been told that you have a radio voice? You know, the kind of voice that sounds clear, confident, and captivating on the airwaves. If so, you might be interested in a volunteer opportunity that will put your voice to good use.

The Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association is looking for a volunteer to help write a script and record an outgoing telephone message. The message will inform callers about the latest news and events happening in our neighborhood. You will need to update the message periodically as new events are planned.

This is a great way to use your talents and skills to benefit your community. You will also have the chance to work with other friendly and passionate neighbors who care about making Seminole Holland a better place to live.

The estimated time commitment is about one hour per month. You can work from home. All you need is a phone and a radio voice.

If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, please let us know by calling 816-289-6485 or emailing SeminoleHolland@gmail.com. We would love to hear from you and have you join the team.

Calling All Volunteers: We Need Your Help with Yard Signs

Do you love your neighborhood and want to help make it even better? Do you enjoy seeing colorful and informative yard signs that announce upcoming events and activities? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then we have a great opportunity for you!

If you can help with this ongoing project, please let us know by calling 816-289-6485 or emailing SeminoleHolland@gmail.com. The estimated time commitment is about one hour a month. You can choose the areas and times that work best for you. We will provide you with the yard signs and the instructions on how to place them.

We appreciate your support and enthusiasm for our neighborhood. Together, we can make Seminole Holland a great place to live, work, and play!
