Do You Have What It Takes to Be a Voice of Seminole Holland?

Have you ever been told that you have a radio voice? You know, the kind of voice that sounds clear, confident, and captivating on the airwaves. If so, you might be interested in a volunteer opportunity that will put your voice to good use.

The Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association is looking for a volunteer to help write a script and record an outgoing telephone message. The message will inform callers about the latest news and events happening in our neighborhood. You will need to update the message periodically as new events are planned.

This is a great way to use your talents and skills to benefit your community. You will also have the chance to work with other friendly and passionate neighbors who care about making Seminole Holland a better place to live.

The estimated time commitment is about one hour per month. You can work from home. All you need is a phone and a radio voice.

Calling All Volunteers: We Need Your Help with Yard Signs

Do you love your neighborhood and want to help make it even better? Do you enjoy seeing colorful and informative yard signs that announce upcoming events and activities? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then we have a great opportunity for you!

The Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association is looking for a couple of volunteers to help with the display of event yard signs. Yard sign coordinators would help identify locations for event yard signs and work out placement with the property owner. This is a fun and easy way to get involved in your community and spread the word about our awesome events.

You can choose the areas and times that work best for you. We will provide you with the yard signs and the instructions on how to place them.

Dream Center Back to School Summer Splash - August 19, 2023

Join friends at the Dream Center on August 19 from 10 am - 1 pm for a back-to-school block party! Play games, have lunch, connect with community partners, and pick out a back-to-school outfit. No pre-registration required. The Dream Center is located at 829 West Atlantic Street. 

Greet Neighbors at the Messiah Lutheran Neighborhood Cleanup

Do you have time to help distribute information and talk to people about the neighborhood association at the Messiah Lutheran Neighborhood Cleanup on Saturday, September 9, 2023? Four volunteers are needed from about 8:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. The time is broken down into two shifts each two hours long and you can volunteer for one or two shifts. How You Can Support Your Neighborhood Association with Just One Hour of Your Time

Hey, Seminole Holland neighbors! We have an opportunity for you to get involved in our community and make a difference. We are looking for a few awesome volunteers to help us with the board member election and tabulation process for the upcoming October election. You will be part of a team that ensures the fairness and accuracy of our online voting system. Plus, you will get to meet some of your fellow residents and have some fun. Sounds great, right?

Calling all graphic designers! Do you love your neighborhood and want to make it even more beautiful? Do you have a flair for creating eye-catching flyers, posters, and other materials? If you answered yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you!

The Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association is looking for a volunteer to help with the design of our communication materials. You will be working with a friendly and dedicated team of neighbors who care about improving our community. You will also have the chance to showcase your creative skills and make a positive impact.

The time commitment is very flexible and minimal. We only need about two hours of your time per month. You can work from home or anywhere you like. All you need is a computer and some graphic design software.

Mission of Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association

The mission of the Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association is:

• To identify neighborhood issues and/or problems of common concern.
• To express opinions on these issues and/or problems.
• To coordinate with appropriate government officials and others to resolve those issues and/or problems relative to the neighborhood.
• To enhance communication among the citizens who reside within the Association boundaries.
• To provide a platform for neighborhood socialization.
• To be a neighborhood with heart in the heart of the city.
