Notice of Scheduled Vote on Proposed Bylaws and Election
Bylaws
This is official thirty-day notice of the Association's proposed bylaws. The final proposed bylaws have been prepared and are posted at www.SeminoleHolland.com. There have been some changes from the last revision to make the bylaws more compliant with the requirements to become a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in the future. Members will be voting to adopt the proposed bylaws by casting ballots at the Lantern Walk on Saturday, November 12.
Board of Directors
We need at least one more person to volunteer to serve as a Board member of the Association. If you would like to discuss it, give Will Cooper a call at 816-289-6485. We will be electing Board Members at the Lantern Walk event on Saturday, November 12. Write-ins will be allowed, but the person must agree to serve.

Planning and Zoning Update - Jefferson and Sunshine
On Thursday, October 6, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered Conditional Use Permit 470 for a developer that wants to build a 7-Brew Coffee Shop at the corner of Jefferson and Sunshine. Many people living in the area neighborhoods submitted written comments for the Commission to review and three Association members spoke at the commission hearing. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5-1 not to recommend approval of the conditional use permit by the City Council. Attention now turns to contacting the City Council about this issue. You can submit written comments by emailing citycouncil@springfieldmo.gov. The city council meeting where this issue will be considered has not yet been formally announced.
