The neighborhood organizing committee meets at 6 pm on the third Monday of the month at Messiah Lutheran Church, 925 E Seminole St. All are welcome.
SPS University at Holland Elementary School will be September 13, 2022, from Five until Seven PM. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided. Help your student find their classroom and meet their teacher. Handouts will be given for the information you need to connect to Holland Elementary School.
On September 10, 2022, the first Saturday after Labor Day, from Nine AM until Noon, will be the Messiah Seminole Holland Neighborhood Clean-up. Bring your lawn trimmings (leaves, grass, limbs). They will have dumpsters available for trash also. Watch your mailbox for the particulars. They expect to provide containers for your documents that need shredding. Messiah Lutheran Church is located at 925 East Seminole. Call the church if you have questions at 417.881.2192.
On Sunday, August 14, 2022, Two to Five PM, there will be a shoe fitting for Holland School students at Sunset Church of Christ at Sunset and Fort. At least 99 people have signed up. They will need help measuring feet and help to pick out shoes. If you can help, please come.

The Springfield City Council has denied a permit for a proposed 7 Brew coffee drive-thru at Sunshine and Jefferson because of traffic concerns. The property can be developed for other commercial purposes.
